ActivitiesPets Do you fancy milking a cow? We have "Daisy" our friendly house cow. Or would you rather help to feed the calves and pet lambs (in season - Sep to Jan)?
Meet our pet sheep, Lamb Chop, Flossy, Fred, Ugly & Geoffrey. Other pets include two wild pigs, "Grunter" & "Piglet", hens and peacocks,
We also have four Ginger house cats, "Minnie" our Jack Russel/Foxie cross and Honey (Labrador) living in and around the house.
Off the Farm To explore the surroundings we have two Kayaks and two mountain bikes for hire. There are bush walks and skyline tracks with panoramic views to the Pelorus & Kenepuru Sounds. You can do day trips to- Titirangi beach
- Port Gore
- sections of the Queen Charlotte walkway
- climb Mt Stokes (1203m)
Why not play a round of golf at the Nopera Golf course (30 minute drive away).
We can provide you with Picnic lunches with fresh homemade bread & baking. Explore our extensive Garden Our huge Garden divided into several different sections features as one of the many gardens in the Marlborough Gardens Tour. Please read more in our Garden page.
Animals Meet our friendly horses, Gem, Jewel, Jade, Spice and Opal.
We also have 2 mules Muriel & Muffin.
Come and cuddle our 33year old donkey Emily (she loves being brushed and made a fuss of).
Help muster sheep and cattle when the occasion permits.
Fishing and Water Go Snapper fishing from shore, jetty or boat. The best times would be October to November and then again February to March.
Water transport is available for fishing trips and cruises etc. Please check Kenepuru Water Taxi or Pelorus Tours.
